Hillsdale Area Men With Vision
The Hillsdale Area Men With Vision is a group of volunteers, mostly retired, who build handicap ramps for people with mobility issues. We are a faith-based ministry and our volunteers come from a number of local churches. We are a non-profit organization and are funded by individuals, corporations, churches, community foundations, V.A. and Region 2 Council on Aging donations. There is never a charge for labor but do ask recipient to provide funds for materials except screws. We typically build about 20 ramps per year. Some carpentry skills are helpful, but not required.
- For: Men who enjoy helping and working with their hands
- When: Wednesday mornings as needs arises and weather permits
- Where: Anywhere in Hillsdale County
