YOUTH MINISTRY
6th - 12th Grade
HUB Youth exists to provide opportunities for students to grow in their relationship with Jesus, increase their knowledge of God's word, and build community with peers and adult volunteers.
Sunday Morning Study
- For: Middle & High School Students
- When: Weekly, Sunday mornings at 9am
- Where: Hillsdale UB, Wheelhouse (MS Room 4 & HS Room 3)
Both middle and high school students are working through the two Bible Studies listed below:
- Thrive: Finding Our Purpose. When we discover our purpose in Christ, life takes on a meaning and richness the world cannot offer.
- Genesis: Navigating Family Conflict. We will discover how we ought to relate to others, avoid conflict, and restore relationships when conflict happens.

Sunday morning high school class will be taught by Bethany Kollmorgen. She can’t wait to share her love of God’s Word with high schoolers.
Riley Weaver can’t get enough of middle schoolers. She spends her weeks with them at Michindoh’s Outdoor Education Program and is excited to teach them on Sunday mornings, too. |
Youth Group:
Students, join us each Sunday evening for games, a time of worship, lesson, and small group/discussion time.
Our regular youth group meets each Sunday evening with MS meeting 4:30-6:00pm and HS meeting 6:30-8:00pm.

Youth Group Volunteers
Here at Hillsdale UB, we have a great group of students excited to learn more about Christ. We are looking for adults who are passionate about their faith and ready to build relationships with students that draw them closer to Christ. Barna research shows that a primary factor in a young person practicing their faith in their 20's is a strong connection to an adult. Be part of growing the kingdom here at Hillsdale UB!
- For: Adults 18 years and older (male or female)
- When: Weekly - Sunday evenings; September-May
- Where: Hillsdale UB, HAC (youth building)
- Leader: Vince Paternite, Youth Director

Meet our Youth & Worship Director, Vince Paternite.
Vince grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He went to Indiana Wesleyan University where he studied recreation and camp administration. After working at Sky Ranch in Colorado, he began working at Michindoh Camp & Conference Center here in Hillsdale in May 2019 as the assistant program administrator. Vince began leading worship part time and then became full-time at Hillsdale UB in September 2021 as our Youth and Worship Director. Feel free to contact me with any questions at [email protected] |
