YOUTH MINISTRY
6th - 12th Grade
HUB Youth exists to provide opportunities for students to grow in their relationship with Jesus, increase their knowledge of God's word, and build community with peers and adult volunteers.
Sunday Morning Study
This summer, we will explore the concept that the church is More Than a Building; we are a people defined by devotion, worship, community, and action. In The Right Path, we will discover and examine key characteristics of following Jesus, including faithfulness and humility. We will conclude this quarter by discussing various aspects of God’s Design in our world today.

Ark Encounter:
Come with us to see a piece of Biblical history brought to life. We will be heading down to Kentucky to check out The Ark Encounter this summer. The cost for the trip is $100, and transportation is provided. We will leave Friday, August 7 and spending the night at a local school, and checking out the ark on the next day, July 8. Cedar Point:
Come and have a fun day of roller coasters and good times. The cost is $50 per student and transportation provided. Email [email protected] with any questions. Click here to register. 
Youth Group:
Our weekly youth group has ended for this school year. We have several summer events planned. Follow us on Instagram @hubyouthgroup to stay up-to-date on all middle & high school events coming this summer and fall.

Youth Group Volunteers
Here at Hillsdale UB, we have a great group of students excited to learn more about Christ. We are looking for adults who are passionate about their faith and ready to build relationships with students that draw them closer to Christ. Barna research shows that a primary factor in a young person practicing their faith in their 20's is a strong connection to an adult. Be part of growing the kingdom here at Hillsdale UB!
- For: Adults 18 years and older (male or female)
- When: Weekly - Sunday evenings; September-May
- Where: Hillsdale UB, HAC (youth building)

Meet our Youth & Worship Director, Vince Paternite.
Vince grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He went to Indiana Wesleyan University where he studied recreation and camp administration. After working at Sky Ranch in Colorado, he began working at Michindoh Camp & Conference Center here in Hillsdale in May 2019 as the assistant program administrator. Vince began leading worship part time and then became full-time at Hillsdale UB in September 2021 as our Youth and Worship Director. Feel free to contact me with any questions at [email protected] |
