YOUTH MINISTRY
6th - 12th Grade
HUB Youth exists to provide opportunities for students to grow in their relationship with Jesus, increase their knowledge of God's word, and build community with peers and adult volunteers.
Sunday Morning Study
This winter, we will be focusing on the birth of our Savior in The Greatest Gift. Through the experiences of Joseph, Mary, the shepherds, and the wise men, we can learn how the birth of Jesus impacted their lives and continues to shape ours today.
Next, we will explore how Jesus has authority over sickness, nature, our needs, and ultimately everything in No Other Name: Jesus. Finally, we will examine the lives of Ruth, Hannah, Elijah, and Esther from the Old Testament and discover our heavenly Father’s goodness and faithfulness in our God. |

Youth Group:
Students, join us each Sunday evening for games, a time of worship, a lesson, and small group/discussion time. Our regular youth group meets each Sunday evening, with MS meeting 4:30-6:00pm and HS meeting 6:30-8:00pm. For 5 weeks, beginning January 4, we are going to look at the life of Job. He went through a lot, he lost everything, and was questioned by the people close to him. He asked questions himself. We are going to look at all the ups and downs he experienced in what was the toughest part of his life. Don't miss it. |

Youth Group Volunteers
Here at Hillsdale UB, we have a great group of students excited to learn more about Christ. We are looking for adults who are passionate about their faith and ready to build relationships with students that draw them closer to Christ. Barna research shows that a primary factor in a young person practicing their faith in their 20's is a strong connection to an adult. Be part of growing the kingdom here at Hillsdale UB!
- For: Adults 18 years and older (male or female)
- When: Weekly - Sunday evenings; September-May
- Where: Hillsdale UB, HAC (youth building)

Meet our Youth & Worship Director, Vince Paternite.
Vince grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He went to Indiana Wesleyan University where he studied recreation and camp administration. After working at Sky Ranch in Colorado, he began working at Michindoh Camp & Conference Center here in Hillsdale in May 2019 as the assistant program administrator. Vince began leading worship part time and then became full-time at Hillsdale UB in September 2021 as our Youth and Worship Director. Feel free to contact me with any questions at [email protected] |
